¿Qué es el Boletín Eléctrico y cuándo lo necesitas?

El Boletín Eléctrico o CIE certifica que una instalación es apta para el suministro Electrico.

 

Lo debe emitir un instalador autorizado y tiene una validez de 20 años.

Pero… ¿Cuándo lo necesitas.

Es posible que hayas intentado hacer algún cambio en tu suministro eléctrico y que tu distribuidora te haya pedido el Boletín Eléctrico o el Certificado de Instalación Eléctrica.

Pero ¿sabes qué es y por qué te lo están pidiendo?

 

¿Qué es el Boletín Eléctrico?

El Boletín Eléctrico o Certificado de Instalación Eléctrica (CIE) es un documento oficial que certifica una instalación eléctrica y que esta cumple con los requisitos necesarios para el suministro. Sin este documento tu compañía comercializadora o la distribuidora no sabe si tienes una instalación adecuada para poder dar de alta la luz o subirte la potencia con todas las garantías, por ejemplo.

Y que no se te olvide, tiene una vigencia de 20 años.

¿Quién lo emite?

Aunque todo lo que tiene que ver con la luz parece complicado, y a veces hasta da un poquillo de miedo, en este caso es bastante sencillo. El Boletín Eléctrico lo debe emitir un instalador electricista autorizado, que seguro que puedes encontrar varios en tu localidad.

¿Qué incluye el Boletín?

Este documento recoge las características de la instalación:

  • Datos identificativos del titular.
  • Emplazamiento de la instalación (dirección física donde se encuentra la vivienda).
  • Características de la instalación (en función del tipo de instalación se aplicarán unos u otros):
    • Uso de la instalación (por ejemplo no es lo mismo una vivienda doméstica que una oficina o un hotel).
    • Superficie.
    • Aforo.
    • Potencia máxima admisible.
    • Tensión.
    • Datos de la Línea General de Alimentación (sección, longitud, etc.)
    • Datos de la derivación individual (sección, longitud, etc.)
    • Contadores de luz (situación, ubicación y sistema)
    • Datos de las protecciones (interruptor general, interruptor diferencial, etc)
  • Empresa distribuidora.
  • Empresa instaladora autorizada.
  • Mediciones de comprobación.

De todos estos datos, el más importante para el cliente es el de la potencia máxima admisible, ya que la potencia contratada deberá ser igual o inferior al dato que figure en el CIE.

Lo necesitas en estos casos:

Esta muy bien saber qué es el Boletín Eléctrico, pero también es importante saber si lo necesitas. Hay diferentes situaciones en las que te lo puede pedir tu compañía eléctrica:

  1. Alta de suministro. En viviendas donde nunca ha habido luz, necesitaremos aportar el Boletín Eléctrico.
  2. Cambio de contrato en una instalación de más de 20 años. Cuando realizas algún cambio en el contrato y la instalación y el Boletín Eléctrico tienen más de 20 años tendremos que aportar el Boletín para acreditar que éste esté en condiciones.
  3. Un cambio de potencia. Si quieres realizar un cambio de potencia en tu suministro y ésta excede la reflejada en el Boletín.
  4. Un cambio en el contrato. Si realizamos cualquier cambio en el contrato (incluidos los cambios de titular) tras 20 años de la firma del CIE original, la compañía tiene derecho a verificar las instalaciones y exigir un nuevo Boletín. Así se estipula en el Real Decreto 1955/2000. Sin embargo, en la práctica las eléctricas no lo suelen solicitar para realizar estos trámites. Si vives en Cataluña sí que te solicitarán el BRIE o Boletín Azul.
  5. Si cambiamos el tipo de instalación de monofásica a trifásica tendremos que hacernos con un nuevo boletín eléctrico que acredite nuestra instalación.

¿Cuánto cuesta el Boletín Eléctrico?

A pesar de todas los costes regulados en el sector eléctrico, el coste del Boletín no es uno de ellos. Varía en función de varios factores: la Comunidad Autónoma, la instalación que tengas contratada y del propio profesional.

Sí que es cierto que las Comunidades Autónomas exigen a los instalaciones una tasa de entre 30-40€. Si a esto le sumamos la mano de obra del instalador electricista autorizado, la elaboración del propio boletín y la tramitación del documento en el organismo que procede, podemos estimar que el Boletín Eléctrico puede costar entorno a 150€.

Aún así, debemos tener en cuenta que cada instalador puede cobrar la tarifa que considere. Te recomendamos que compares precios entre los profesionales de tu zona y escoge el que más te convenga.
